Join us for a Litter Survey at Ain Al Faydah in Al Ain! Be part of a hands-on conservation effort as we remove waste, collect data, and help protect one of Al Ain’s unique natural areas. MORE ABOUT THE LOCATION: Ain Al Faydah is a beautiful freshwater area known for its scenic views, local wildlife, and community spaces. Unfortunately, litter and plastic pollution continue to threaten its ecosystems. Through this activity, participants will help restore the area’s natural beauty while contributing to important environmental research. WHAT WILL PARTICIPANTS LEARN OR GAIN? - Conduct a structured litter survey and actively help remove waste. - Use the Clean Swell app to record data. - Understand the impact of litter on freshwater and desert ecosystems. WHICH AREA OF IMPACT DOES IT CONTRIBUTE TO? This activity supports the goal of reducing plastic leakage into nature by 50% by 2030. It helps identify the sources of plastic waste and contributes to building insights that support policies on single-use plastics and promote a circular economy in the UAE.
