Community Leaders are passionate members of the public, willing to take their community out to support nature and conservation research. They collect important information about the current state of the planet and submit their data for research, all whilst connecting with nature! All you need to do is pass the practical training and gain your certification!
The data that your events help collect contribute to PPSR (Public Participation in Scientific Research) projects led by Emirates Nature-WWF and Environmental Agency-Abu Dhabi, so your trips are vital in providing us with more of a complete picture of the world around us.
Welcome to the Community Leaders hub. Here you will find all the materials you will need to become a community leader, and facilitate your key events. Here you can access comprehensive toolkits on how to engage the community in citizen science, topic-relevant assessments to test your knowledge and your Community Leader dashboard!
