Get ready to dive into the UAE’s vital mangrove forests! In this hands-on field trip, students will assess the health of mangrove ecosystems, record local biodiversity, and identify environmental threats – contributing valuable data to conservation efforts.

Students will:
Monitor mangrove health and biodiversity
Record species sightings and environmental indicators using citizen science tools
Contribute findings to ongoing national conservation efforts

By studying and protecting mangroves, students help safeguard ecosystems essential to the UAE’s environment.

      How to assess the health of ecosystems using data collected in the field

      Survey mangroves, wildlife, and environmental indicators

      Record scientific data and monitor health indicators using app and field tools

      Support habitat clean-up efforts to protect marine life
