Students represent the future of our nation, and our planet. At Connect with Nature, young people are invited to take part in hands-on conservation, explore the natural world, and learn how to protect it.

This is a space where learning comes to life. Students will explore real environmental challenges and discover how they can be part of the solution – in their communities, their careers, and their everyday choices.

Since 2019, Connect with Nature has engaged over 14,000 young people around nature and conservation. Together, we are bridging the gap between people and nature and cultivating a spirit of environmental stewardship across the UAE.

Join Connect with Nature and be part of an exciting journey that empowers students and teachers to become environmental champions. Students will step into the role of citizen scientists, working alongside assist scientists and experts in the field and helping make a real difference for nature in the UAE.

  • Conservation means protecting nature – like animals, plants, and the places they live – so that future generations can enjoy them too. But it’s also about protecting ourselves. We need clean air, water, food, and a healthy planet to survive – and all of that comes from nature.

Connect with Nature Field Trips for Schools

We’re offering 50 immersive trips annually for over 2,000 students. These hands-on experiences are designed to align with environmental education goals while making learning fun and impactful. Students will learn new skills as they train to become citizen scientists and gain a unique opportunity to contribute to local and global conservation efforts.

Kayak 4 Conservation

Paddle through mangroves to help protect fragile marine environments. Clean up litter in hard-to-reach spots and record data to support national conservation efforts.

Mangrove Monitoring

Dive into the muddy mangrove forests to collect valuable data. Learn about mangroves' role in climate resilience, coastal protection, and marine biodiversity.

Join our Litter Survey, an engaging and educational activity where students will collect, categorize, and weigh litter from both marine and terrestrial environments.
