Marine litter is a global crisis for our ocean, its inhabitants and for those who enjoy it - us! Join us as we head down to Jebel Ali Marine Wildlife Sanctuary to survey the beach, be citizen scientist, collect the waste and keep the coastline clean. You will not only help clean the beach sustainably, but you will also learn about the marine life and enjoy the fresh air. The event will kick-off with a quick description about the sanctuary and the ecosystems that inhabit the area. After that, you will be educated on how to properly collect litter and throw it away.
- Gloves & pickers will be provided for all participants but do make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen, and your reusable water bottle.
- Attendees must always keep their masks on and social distancing is mandatory throughout the event.
- Please note that spots are limited.
See you all there!
