[CHALLENGE] Emission Possible

10 Feb, 2020

Shared mobility is changing how people travel and is having a transformative impact on mobility. Carpooling has been associated with several social benefits as it reduces the number of needed automobiles such as reduced parking infrastructure demand, congestion, mitigation and reductions in energy consumption and emissions. For instance, if three people carpool on 20 km journey to work five days a week, they would reduce carbon emissions by 1,248 kg per year using one car rather than three. In Connect with Nature, we try to make our events as sustainable as possible. Share your ride or a ride to a CwN event, reduce your carbon footprint, and earn an IMPACT badge!
