We’re heading down to Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week to take part in some of the awesome activities happening there, and there will be loads of opportunities for you to join and earn some badges too!

 

World Future Energy Summit (WFES)

 

January 14th

• 14:30 at the EcoWASTE Forum, Hall 4
  Emirates Nature – WWF Climate and Conservation Director Srdjan Susic will be talking about circular economy and its role in sustainable waste management. Followed by a panel discussion that will call on real-life examples to show how connections were made, the value created (through savings or new sales) and what needed to be put in place (technology or practices) to effect that change.

January 15th

• 11:45 AM -12:05 PM: Our very own Arabella Willing will be talking at the Youth 4 Sustainability Hub about harnessing the power of curiosity to sustain life.
• 12:50 PM -1:05 PM (15 Minutes) meet Arabella at the "Meet the Experts" majlis to learn more about about how we can use our consumer power for good.

The Masdar Festival

 

Thursday 16th and Friday 17th Jan

• We’ll be hosting workshops to teach you how you can contribute to research and the environment with citizen science! All you need is a smart phone and a thirst for knowledge. More info here!
