The trip begins with a boat cruise through the mangrove forest, one of the most amazing ecosystems in the UAE and home to a heaps of wonderful creatures such as flamingos, fish, crabs and dolphins. The boat will then take us to Dolphin Bay, named after its regular visitors (but as with all wild animals, there is no guarantee of a sighting). The tour includes some time out of the boat exploring mangrove islands and sand banks, where we will take the opportunity to pick up and log any trash we find. There will be time for picnicking, swimming and snorkelling.
The tour is operated by “Captain Tony’s,” and Arabella from Connect with Nature will be on board to delight you with fun facts about the flora and fauna.
What to bring:
Some water will be provided, but please bring your own water bottles, snacks/picnic, sun protection, binoculars and towel. There is an opportunity to swim/snorkel at Dolphin Bay, so swimwear is advised.
