Right next door to Abu Dhabi on beautiful Al Saadiyat Island, you will find some of the most iconic locals of the UAE. As you drive by the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, be astounded by a scene the country’s forefathers knew only too well – a landscape populated by free-roaming gazelles. These wonderful creatures have a great cultural and historical significance in Abu Dhabi – the name of the Emirate itself means ‘father of the gazelle’. The nine-kilometre Saadiyat beach is also a nesting ground for Hawksbill Turtles.
