As you drive by the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, be astounded by a scene the country’s forefathers knew only too well – a landscape populated by free roaming gazelles. These wonderful creatures have a great cultural and historical significance in Abu Dhabi – the name of the Emirate itself means ‘father of the gazelle’. The nine-kilometre Saadiyat beach is also a nesting ground for Hawksbill Turtles.
