Become an Ambassador and Lead the Way to Change

By actively participating in the Climate Series and attending at least 50% of the sessions, followed by attending 1 field trip at the beginning of the season (dates to be announced later), you will become eligible for a chance to join our exclusive Ambassadors for Nature-batch 2 Programme.

As an ambassador, you will have the opportunity to take your climate action journey to the next level and become a leader in driving change within your community.

Through specialized training, mentorship, and access to a variety of additional resources, you will be equipped with the tools and support needed to make a lasting impact and inspire others to join the movement.

Eligibility criteria to apply to become an Ambassador for Nature:

To be considered for the esteemed role of Ambassador for Nature, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Age Restriction: Applicants must fall within the age range of 18 to 35 years.

2. Nature Engagement: Prior to the application deadline in October 2023, individuals must demonstrate their commitment to nature by completing a minimum of six hours of dedicated involvement. This can be accomplished through any of the following methods:

• Attending at least 60% of the e-training sessions of COP28 Youth Climate and Nature Series, coupled with at least one field trip.
• Devoting six hours of active participation on platforms such as CWN, Sahim, Bader, Leaders of Change

   Fulfilling this criterion is mandatory to:

• It ensures the receipt of a digital certificate of participation
• It serves as a prerequisite to apply for advanced training exclusively designed for ambassadors

3. Create a 1-minute video explaining why you want to become and Ambassador for Nature and how you will enable yourself and your network towards environmental action. 

4. Commitment to Advanced Training: Applicants must demonstrate their willingness to undertake the advanced training programme on the 10th, 11th and the 12th of November.
